Deep, mystical, mellow – that’s what we say when talking about the A Integral RAV Vast.

The A Integral refers to Native American culture and is perfect for sound-healing, music therapy and yoga due to its deep enigmatic sound and incredibly long sustain which is longer than in the other RAV Vasts.

The secret of RAV Vast is in the special steel that is used to create a unique sound. The RAV Vast A Integral is made out of the steel of 1.5 mm comparing to usual 2 mm thickness of the other RAV Vasts. The thinner shell provides incredible sound depth and longevity. This is also one of the lightest drums among the whole RAV Vast collection (the weight of the A Integral is 4.9 kg only, while the average RAV Vast weight is 5.9 kg).

It matches well the D Major, C Golden Gate, D Celtic Minor RAV Vasts. If you want to immerse the listeners in a really deep sound, play in duet with the E Low Pygmy.

RAV was invented by a Russian engineer, Andrey Remyannikov in 2013, inspired by handpans, and turned out to become inimitable among other similar instruments. After months of daily work, several broken metal barrels and 100 rejected forms of ‘tongue’ (note) - Andrey’s first prototype was born. 100% hand-crafted, it was a homage to the Hang, but with a different look and totally unique sound.

He adopted the name RAV after handpan forum members and the drums’ very first owners took his full name - Remyannikov Andrey Vladimirovich - and gave the instrument this nickname.

Our instrument gives an easy access to creating music to everyone. Both, beginners and professionals. Today there are more than 20 different RAV Vast scales and more than 7 RAV Pan scales are handcrafted and we're constantly working on the new ones. Each scale represents a certain mood, inspired by a certain culture or harmony
