A modern version of the African Mbira, Kalimba is a solo instrument as well as an accompaniment instrument for singers, musicians and dancers. Sometimes also referred to as the thumb piano, the Kalimba has a resonating soundboard with metal keys on the top. It comes in various sizes, offering you a greater range in playing the scale and giving you the possibility to tune it in whichever scale you prefer
